There was a Mike Hammer novel back in the day that actually managed to make a perforated abdomen a turn on. Those were often some strange books … read by millions, haed only by high-brow reviewers.

well, i wasn’t intending to make it sexual at all. in fact, there was a bit i was going to add at a point, where there was a covering for it, where the hole wasn’t exposed, and it looked more natural, and more protected from the elements, but that she lost the plate covering while drunk or just being lazy. i thought it didn’t add much, and slowed down the story at a point, but the intent was to make her look less responsible, and in fact, not interested in looking normal, or being attractive, hinting at a depression, or a rough patch in her life.

“Pay the band.” For no valid reason, this reminds me of Lawrence Welk’s recount of his very early years, when the little show he was with left Minnesota, and wandered down through Texas. The band developed a code, whereby the drummer kept an eye out for trouble. When he gave a certain drum roll, everybody in the band dove for cover. More than once in a dance room fight, the “gentlemen” drew and fired.

Yeah, his autobiography, “Wonderful, Wonderful” is a weird trip.

that’s funny, but i can totally see it. the drummer should get a bigger cut of the door money if he’s doing 2 jobs.

Oh hell. I thought that he was complimenting her belly button. I had to take a second look. However, given the badassedness she has in sporting such a come hither look, I’d rather just look in her eyes. Just like Peter Gabriel.

haha, no, they were refering to the hole in her gut. which detracts a bit from the come hitherness of any look. unless that’s your fetish. in which case, science has some catching to do.
