Now if the guy in the hole hadn’t stolen that bag of cash, virgil never would have thrown that shovel or w/e at the cement, the guy would have suffocated, and the gangsters would’ve come along, gotten the head, and only one of the people dead right now would have died. It’s the little things sometimes lol.
I don’t know that I’d call it “mounting failures”, unless you mean in “human decency” and then , 110%. I mean, if Virgil had dealt fairly from jump, he’d be one hand up, but (potentially, if he does get a payout from this) 300Au 25Ag poorer, and a whole lot more people would still be alive… but as no one has been a square dealer so far (exception is Therp, kinda) all that is moot. So far the only people who we haven’t seen as ‘deserving what they’re getting’ are Therp and “head chick”. But what do we know at this point? All I know is I’ve got 410 pages to catch up on, so I suspect even lowly Therp will be shown to deserve it all…
