Alright, I admit it, I’m hooked! I’ve gotten this far in one afternoon and if I didn’t have to get off the comp and onto some other stuff, I’d probably marathon my way to the end. Good work Jason, you’ve got another reader.
D’oh! yes, that’s what i meant. i’ve edited the comment to reflect my mistake. man, i gotta get smarter. not bad for someone who can bearly reed passed a eighth grade leval.
i guess i should be happy people are reading what i write! oh, and the comic too. yeah, all that jazz. thanks!
thanks! i like doing the animated panels. if i had more time… ah well. your first question will be answered in the next few pages, as for whether or not virgil is human, i’ve never really ALLUDED (diction sticklers) to virgil’s backstory, but i never meant to give anyone the impression that he is, or was human. i like the idea that robots could be very much like people. not mimicking emotions, or constantly trying to figure out the nature of existence, but actually petty, and flawed, and motivated by the same sort of things that motivate anyone. if true, robots would blend into society on a deeper level. you might interact with one like anyone else. cept dinner is served at a wall outlet.
I gotta admit, when I heard the girl from the beginning mention getting a temporary synthetic body, I just kinda assumed all the robots with a personality were people uploaded into them. Cool to hear AI’s are running about as full members of society.

awesome! thanks for saying so. glad you’re enjoying it so far.
Are you sure you don’t mean “alluded”? Great comic, by the way. I’ve been reading consistently to see what could happen next.

I do try to help every once in a while. You’re welcome.
Hmm, but who is this he has just activated? Also- is Virgil a former human? Great wake-up/activation animation!
