What an (quietly) awesome page this is! I want to know ~all the stories…
The lighting is varied, as it should be, drawing my eyes to the bright places… so of course I look in the darker ones, see who’s lurking, (nefariously? Innocently? I doubt ~that!) I admit that I was surprised to NOT find one of your sweet lighting effects.
Very cool. Overall, the comic gets an A+. Underall, it gets a Noir+; the humor is sick beyond belief sometimes, makes me lol, gets me funny looks. (Though no one questions the crazy lady walking around, talking to the air anymore, with the advent of cell phones… even gesturing wildly only nets a wider “personal space”.)
wow, you’re so welcome! i love it that my work resonates so much with people. well, some people. sickos, really.
and i have a few crazy lady readers that i’m aware of. always glad to hear that the comic works outside of my own personal bubble of experience. i wish i had more robot readers. i think they think i’m racist….
Man, I can’t believe Virgil parked his sweet ride in a neighborhood like this. I bet it’s hot-wired and stolen by the next frame. I mean, who *wouldn’t* want to cruise around in an awesome construction vehicle?
You are unaware of these parking jobs, then https://loweringthebar.net/2015/02/another-zamboni-dui.html, which Virgil would totally be capable of. There was an international Zamboni DUI in Sault Saint Marie a few years back.It was a slow-speed chase for the ages.
yeah, i like to think of virgil as the kind of self centered where going even slightly out of one’s way to not inconvenience someone else, would never occur to him

But how come the tracks didn’t gouge the obviously overdue for maintenance asphalt surface?
um… hi tech asphalt?
Gr8 parking job there

oh for sure. so stylish. we’ll see in future panels he used ‘the cyber club’ on it. it’s just like ‘the club’, but it’s……. um, cyber.
