from your keyboard to god’s ears. or well, at least netflix’s ears.
and thanks. the backgrounds are a fun way for me to play with design and establishing shots. sometimes it fun to switch it up a bit.and i think it’s helping my overall drawing improve. which is key.
haha, if that were only true. i’m. it sure if there is a main character. shifting scenes in a larger world. it’s not ‘usual’ storytelling, but hopefully entertaining all the same.
If there’s no main character, there’s no safety. As Alice said, nothing bad ever really happens to main characters. If the story is juggled across a wide and varied cast, there’s no promise that any of them will be the one she who live or die, as we have seen a a few times in this comic.
So, I believe it was a smart creator decision to do this type of storytelling. It keeps us readers on our toes.

Wow, your backgrounds are FANTASTIC. Why isn’t this a series on Netflix or something?

Hmm. The way you put that makes me draw connections to Pulp Fiction’s method of storytelling.
i suppose i can see that. pulp fiction was a noir film, it’s drew on alot of the same influences i do, i would suspect.
Plot twist: we’ve finally met the actual main character, it’s just been backstory up to now.

Well, we keep coming back, so we must be hooked!
well, ya got good taste. haha
Well-rounded, certainly! Something rich and dark to contrast light and airy, eh?
Does that mean something resembling a coffee commercial? …Thanks!

thanks! i was going for something different with it, and i want people to think that anything might happen. just like life. no one is safe.
