There, now the obvious joke is out of the way. I find it interesting that the robotic guard has what could be multiple antennas in place of a head, which could mean the controlling intelligence (human or AI/MI) is located elsewhere and is puppeting these bodies around. Or, it’s just sensors on stalks that resemble a trident to give them a certain look as desired by The Lady.
Do not try to antagonize the emotionless device. Efforts will be redoubled to elicit relevant information.
I wonder about the future. fMRI scans have been touted as being able to determine if a person is lying. Certainly, there will be advancement. So a torture android would be a modified medical unit. While the android may not be able to discern the exact information, there will be indicators of the quality of the information.
i thought about that too, and i think there’s a place for it in sci fi, but i also like the down and dirty. that in the future, the tried and true methods would still be the go to move.
