I’m … not sure what to think of her. I was going to like her, but she definitely has a mean streak, close to being sadistic.
On the other hand – I think she’s still one of the less bad people in that world. Which doesn’t really mean a lot, I know…
Kinda worried that his leg ware seems to be still bleeding around the placement in panel 4. It also doesn’t seem…capped off properly? I mean, I’m no doctor, but…
Oh well, at least it isn’t a cortex bomb.
it’s funny you mention thati had an internal debate as to whether or not i should draw blood there. i thought better of it, and removed it. not to be less ‘bloody’, but that i think it’s actually a little more insidious to wake up to a healed wound. like, there’s nothing left but the cryin.
Pretty much what I feel like every time I need treatment. Fortunately, I have been blessed with doctors who are more concerned with patients than money. I have had…interesting procedures performed in back rooms with much less anesthesia than one would want.
Not bad. Just very, very, nightmare-inducingly painful. It did serve its intended purpose, however, and helped future doctors treat me more effectively. It also gave a sweet little technician guy something to nod silently about for years when he saw me around. Kind of like we shared a Fight Club secret XD

being justified in smarting off is rarely rewarded like it should be.
Comic feels more realistic every Monday! XD
thanks, although, i’m not going for higher realism, just less crapism. (aka quality)

back rooms get such a bad rap. but that sounds bad. surgeries are rarely higher quality when done on the sly.

sounds like you should have just been in a fight club. at least there you have a chance to win.
*Laughs* Remind me one day and I’ll tell you exactly how I DID meet my Husband!
