Would just like to comment on your writing skills: you do a great job of feeding us info without going into huge text bubbles (though I’m ok with that too). And it’s an ~interesting tale, to be sure.

I’m also a HUGE FAN of your covers! They’ve obviously been rigorously designed, no error left uncut, etc! And as a grouping, the covers themselves are serious work…

    Thank you.

I vote for you nearly every day, (same time as I vote for my others. No worries! Those votes rarely affect your numbers. 😏😁) I hope you get ~something for those votes!

And your cityscapes are beyond compare.

omg, thank you! not just for the compliments, but you reminded me to upload the new cover with the change in chapter! haha, i seriously almost let it slip.

well, even if voting for the comic does little good, it’s still a massive vote of confidence, and i surely appreciate it. it really means a lot when someone takes some time to write something nice, and i feel like i’ve made a few mondays brighter with the updates. so, thanks for saying so!

Does anyone even *look up* when a gun is fired around here?

Never up. Around. Have to make sure the gun isn’t being fired in your direction after all. Having lived in both a rural area and a bad neighborhood in the city, you mostly just make sure it isn’t in immediate line of sight and judge how close by how loud it is.

Sadly, I have to agree with Kat ^ One just looks to see if there’s any personal involvement going to happen, in order to know if there’s a need to flee… or if confrontation is really necessary. (It’s always safest to ~~run.)

yup. that’s reality, and that’s the vibe i’ve tried to push here. it’s a rare thing when people put their own asses in harm’s way for someone else.
