we’re ready to start filming as soon as we get your 200 million dollar investment. or, well, not ready. you called my bluff. there’s no script. gimme a minute.
Darn it! I couldn’t find the patreon button (duh. It’s right there. I’m having vision issues. For this artist, it’s very upsetting. I’m not sure I could sculpt either. Hands are also involved in the aging crap…)
So, I made a nice donation thru Ko-fi. 2 of them. (First time using that so I didn’t know all the bells)
Does that mean I don’t get the patreon perks?
“Just asking for a friend” (lol. )
Oh and since my hubs and I use/ share the same paypal account, it shows his name, probably.
well, i’ll probably add some perks to the ko fi side, more geared to one time donations, but apparently, with YOUR kind donation, i now have ‘kofi gold’. which among other things, allows people to make monthly subscriptions, to which i can add rewards to. so, in most ways, it’s just like patreon, but can do one time donations. that, and i changed the unit of donation from coffee to beer. more realistic.
i’ve always had the worst eyesight. but i got the surgery a few years back, and it was money well spent. no more glasses and contacts. but none of us are getting any younger. sad fact.
My eye doc is astonished I can still see well closeup. I’m not supposed to, since about 15 yrs ago. I just have many floaters now. (Comes from the drying up “eye jelly” (vitreous humour). I also have cataracts forming… I know that having that surgery won’t fix the floaters problem, so I’m putting if off as long as possible.
I think all the years of reading with my glasses off have kept them flexible. Lol
yeah, i think everyone gets those floaters, it’s just to what extent, and how annoying they are. they can do surgery for a lot of things, it just depend on how much you want to monkey around with your eyes. which, i would like to avoid as much as possible, as i’m sure you do.
i know! i just saw, thank you so much! i figured, you saw the page first, but this is even better somehow. thanks so much for the support! and i’m glad you like the page. these ones take longer, but it’s nice to really get into some detail once in a while.
That first panel is GORGEOUS. There’s so much to look at and explore. The contrast with the panels below was a little jarring at first, but holy moly, it’s so stunning!
i agree, at first, it’s weird, cause the look is so different, but i didn’t want one whole page to be a painting. might as well keep the story moving along too. no wasted pages! but i’m glad you like the painting!
I second the above.
My first comment when I opened this page was “Oh god. I like that.”
Do you have other work on the net?
Thank you for a bright spot.
haha, thanks for saying so! yeah, the top row of buttons above the comic have all my social media things. there’s a little instagram icon, if you want to see the stuff i share most, or the patreon one if you want to see it all. if you like what you see, follow me, share it with friends, whatever makes sense to you!
If you drew the first panel that is some incredible work. As a former artist myself (disabled) I can see the time and effort in your style and concept. You must have had some college training in perspective and viewpoints. IMHO anyone can be an illustrator but to be a sequential artist is something else all together. You’re that good. Keep up the good work – OMHC
haha, of COURSE i did the first panel! no guest artists here. a break might be nice, but i’m too much of a control freak. thanks for the props, means a lot coming from fellow artists. sorry bout the disability, and hopefully you still have some creative outlets. not everyone needs it, but if you had it, and lost it, that would suck.
yes, i went to college for animation. which has some focus on doing storyboards which are essentially comic books, so i’m sure that helps with the comic. but i think most of an artists education is going to happen in their spare time. so, the learning never really ends. thing with me, is i can never focus on a style or subject matter to the exclusion of others. i want to be good at everything. so, every once in a while, i do fully painted panels. it’s fun, it lets me flex a part of my skillset i don’t always use.
thanks for the commment! hope you’re enjoying the comic!
That is an AWESOME panel!
thanks! i had fun doing that one!
I want to see the movie that has that first panel in it.

I’d just gifted you, then got this, THIS PAGE, hah!! The gift I gave is fully worth what you give us.
Thank you!
