Hm. Seems I’ve reached the end – for now.
Lucky for me, this seems like a good stopping point.
So, great comic – I’ll definitely be back to continue reading, but probably only in a year or so. Going to go through the archive again, re-reading my comments, seeing if there’re replies to it…
Keep doing great work!
(Also, if you have the time and inclination, maybe find out why the loading times are so long. I’m sure it’s not my connection. Much as I like the comic, the waiting between pages is annoying. As I said, worth it, but still annoying.)
It loads instantly for me. Since you don’t suspect your connection, I’m guessing other sites load fast for you, so it may be a routing issue on the ISP’s end. Try running a traceroute on it. (If you’re unfamiliar: The internet is a hodgepodge of numerous routers/switches and cables that are very decentralized. A physical problem in one part will only impact users if their connection goes across that part.)
If the connection *s out before it gets to B&B’s webhost, you’ll need to send that to your ISP to look into.
If it craps out at the webhost, Jason’s going to have to have *them* look into it. Maybe talk to him about emailing the traceroute log, so you don’t display your IP to the world.
thanks, but if it loads fine for most people, and is maybe a little slow for a few, i’m going to let it slide. i took a look at optomizing, and spent the afternoon trying to make it work a little faster, but i’m out of my depth. i think i’ll just stick to drawing, and hopefully people with stick with it, even if the site isn’t super speedy.
I liked Smirk. I feel sad that that’s it for those guys.
