Interruptions and IT
So, we had another little webhosting hiccup a week or so ago. Honestly, after my site absolutely disappeared for a few hours a few months back, this was far less of a shock, and i was able to deal with it with out the accompanying panic attack. Thanks to the peeps who noticed it and mentioned. Luckily, i was aware of it pretty quickly on my own, but there’s every possibility i might not have, and it could have been days without being aware of a problem, so when in doubt, shout. Even with being aware of it, it still took 36 hours to fix. i have to wonder if amazon was down that long, would they have taken such a laissez faire attitude to webhosting? i think not!
But, that’s all the reason to jump onto the discord server. all the cool kids are doing it. yield to peer pressure. check it out here and get access to all the ‘telling me when the site is broken’. it’s also good for a laugh.
that’s all i have to say about that. crazy busy lately. on top of life stuff, trying to get the new chapter ready for the patrons. it’s quite a bit longer than this one was, so i kind of didn’t give myself enough time. but that’s ok, i think it’s coming out pretty well. the polish, i find is half of what turns something from an ok panel, to a memorable panel. that and the witty zingers.
speaking of which, anyone have any witty zingers i can buy?
Et tu, Brute?
Saucy Kerfuffle was my stripper name!
damnnnnnn. yeah, that wins.
Eh, if Jason doesn’t throw a Canadian pizza party, you can always come to Seattle for coffee. (Yeah, I actually roast coffee myself. You can, too, just do a web search, the process isn’t difficult.)
fine then, i’m getting my manila envelopes, and i’m mailing slices out. i’ll need some addressees, or it’s just going to be a saucy kerfuffle at the post office.
and cause i’m a bad person…. pineapple and anchovies.
This is what I was afraid of! You lied about the pizza party, Jason! >_<
it could still happen. have a little faith!
Hey! He told the truth about hugs last comic! Well, only one hug so far, but there’s time for more.
