Anyone else notice the guy in the middle of the first panel, with the scoped rifle, is wearing the (Star Wars, see episode V and some of the newer ones) rebel hard-sides felt-topped helmet Indian paramilitaries in Kashmir wear?
I thought it was a cool bit of homage du guerre from one commonwealth member (her late Britannic Majesty’s chilliest Dominion) to another (India’s most reluctant princely state).
probably that, or just that i grew up as a star wars kid, and certain designs just imprinted in my head. i’ve seen younger artists struggle with the issue to not draw all hair like dragonball z hair. i’d rather have my issue, if i’m being honest.

There are a finite number of hats that make sense in a combat situation. duplication is a feature, not a bug
