I have a question about Sandrine. Why is she blind? I don’t mean the original cause, but why does she stay blind? Based on what I saw in this comic so far the means to repair this do exist, even ways with natural looking results (seriously, in a world where you can do brain transplant in a garage, getting a new natural eye in a clinic is cakewalk).
This would not be accessible for most people in a world of extreme inequality, but Sandrine looks like somebody with sufficient resources. So why? Just so she spare Angle from seeing him in that state?
I bet that one legged guy will have a wonderfully hopeful future with a complete recovery. After all, it’s just a flesh wound and this comic is all about unbridled hope and joy.

just a bit of tragedy for the balcony seats.
Thank you! I honestly just forgot about that conversation. Long stories like this must be reread.
Miss Sandrine, last seen in #509. A gun in her hand, blood on her dress, and a conversation with Virgil.

nope, nothing is blocked or moderated, not sure what happened to your other message. weird.
and yeah, she probably put on a new dress. not that blood isn’t fashionable, but refined ladies never want to be seen in the same thing twice.

AND friendship!
The best of buds down in Dogstaff … they don’t sell each other for sausages … that’s another itnerested party in these parts.
the poors don’t eat high quality meat like that. i mean, they probably do though.
